Sublimation Elastics

Dye sublimation printing is the best option for multi-colored vibrant elastics.

Using sublimation technique, there is no restriction in making robust patterns and typography, giving designers endless ways to unleash their creativity.

Dye sublimation technique works best on light-color polyester and other synthetic fabrics, such as nylon. The pattern stretches and retracts along with the elastic, ensuring patterns stay the same after stretching.

Step 1

Print pattern on sublimation transfer paper with sublimation ink. Taken up on a roll to be placed onto the transfer press

Step 2

Mount onto transfer press machine with printed surface facing elastic face side

As sublimation paper and elastic is rolled into the rollers together, pressure & heat is applied

STEP 3

The sublimation ink permanently bonds with the synthetic fiber, with no change to the texture or feel of the elastic
